Andy Carver has just visited the Concorde Centre in Manchester, home of the first and last Concorde to fly commercially, Concorde G-BOAC.
It first flew in 1969 and entered commercial service in 1976, flying for 27 years with British Airways. It’s now 10 years since Concorde retired from service and to commemorate this iconic aircraft, Andy Carver has released a series of prints of this remarkable aircraft.
If you are interested in owning a print or series of prints please contact me via firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s with great pleasure to see Drayson Racing have set the new world speed record for an electric car at 204.2 mph! Andy Carver visited Drayson Racing in Kidlington, Oxfordshire back in january 2012 when Lola B12 69/EV vehicle, was still in it’s early stages of development, it was a very exciting concept back then and the team have obviously worked amazingly hard to achieve this landmark in electric vehicle technology.
This year is turning into the year of great photography exhibitions! Man Ray was part of the Dada movement and a prominent Surealist Artist. He was the celebrity photographer of his day too, with friends from Picasso to Duchamp & Ava Gardner who can be seen in this exhibition. He was constantly experimenting with and pioneering darkroom techniques, from Solarised prints, Photogravure, and the Photogram. If you have never seen his work you must get yourself to this exhibition – soon!!
Andy carver visited Chelsea FC to photograph their latest advertising campaign earlier this year, the posters are now up on London’s underground for a limited time only, so let me know if you spot one!
I’ve just spent a couple of fantastic days in Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey photographing the new Peugeot 208 GTI & 208 XY. After a week of gales it was great to see the sun appear on thursday and friday for some stunning views and backdrops for the shoot. Driving up and over the Llanberis Pass was breathtaking – Thanks to Addingvalue, Peugeot & Wales!
