Our current workshop is easily our most exciting, unique to See-41 is our Aerial Photography Workshop over Central London!
As with all our workshops, the love of photography is about taking great shots and learning and applying knowledge on the way, so we start this workshop with a briefing on the ground. Covering the essential technicals from aperture, shutter speed and iso and learning how to apply them to an aerial situation. After this there’s a pilots briefing before boarding one of our helicopters and taking to the skies!
The flight starts at Redhill Aerodrome; the first 15 minutes are a majestic flight over the Surrey countryside, and a good time to check everythings set up correctly.
We then pick up the River Thames at Richmond Park and head east. You can already see right across London to Essex, but below we’re flying over the Wetlands at Barnes and Fulham Football Club & Chelsea Football Club. Passing over Wandsworth Bridge and Battersea Power Station, Tate Briton & Buckingham Palace before seeing the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, St Pauls is to the North and the turquoise pools of Trafalgar square.
Already Tower Bridge is approaching and we’re now flying in-between some of the tallest and most recognisable Skyscrapers in the world… The Gherkin, The Cheesegrater, The Walkie Talkie Building and of course The Shard, but we’re not finished yet as we bear down on Greenwich the O2 and the Olympic Village.
It’s a breathtaking trip! but don’t just take our word for it, see us on YouTube when we took some prize winners from Canon and WEX!
Workshops are run all year round by appointment, so if you deserve a treat get in touch!
